About Hout Bay Leopards

More Than a Soccer School – We Build Futures

At Hout Bay Leopards Soccer School, we believe in the power of football to create opportunity, instill values, and build a stronger future for our youth.

Founded in the heart of one of Cape Town’s most diverse communities, our school is more than a training ground β€” it's a place where young people from all walks of life come together to grow, learn, and lead.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bridge inequality and create opportunities for youth through the game of football.

We use soccer as a platform to nurture talent, build character, and promote education. By providing structured pathways for personal and athletic growth, we empower young people to break cycles of poverty and realize their full potential.

Our Venue

Our home base is located at the Old Speciality Seafood Factory on Harbour Road in Cape Town. The facility serves as an event venue, and community gathering space.

Plans are underway to expand the space into a full-fledged youth development centre with upgraded training and learning facilities.

Venue Hire

The venue is also available for hire for private and corporate events including meetings, parties, workshops, team-building sessions, and more. By hosting your event at our space, you are directly supporting youth development - A percentage of all venue hire revenue goes towards funding the Hout Bay Leopards Soccer School.

We offer a range of event services to make your experience seamless, including professional catering, security, DJs, sound equipment, and more.

Please contact us if you wish to make use of the venue.

Leopards Rest Hall is a community project of the Leopards Football Club NPC in Hout Bay. Leopards Rest Hall provides a much needed venue for the many community projects in the Hout Bay community.

The Hout Bay Harbour area suffers from a severe lack of venues for community activities. The Leopards Rest Hall is used daily by various youth and community organisations for activities including after-school care, dancing, band practice karate, boxing, etc.

At night the venue is used for regular reggae dance halls, hip hop, karaoke, old-school, birthday parties and other events. Please contact us if you wish to make use of the venue.
